Yacht automation on global PLCs: no dependence on one overseas supplier
We build your yacht's automation on standard PLC and HMI hardware that is available worldwide, so a fault, a spare part or a change never ties you to a single manufacturer's service network.
Common issues with proprietary systems
Spare parts are often available only through the manufacturer or its authorised dealer, from abroad and with long lead times.
When software and configuration tools are closed, even a small change may require the manufacturer's service team.
Flying in a service engineer from abroad can add travel, accommodation and waiting costs, and keep the yacht in port during the season.
Once a model is discontinued, compatible parts become harder to find and replacing the whole system may come up.
Advantages of global PLC platforms
Parts for global platforms such as Siemens are quickly available through a wide supply network in Türkiye and worldwide.
Programming tools are standard: your system can be looked after by any qualified automation engineer, not just one company.
Project files and documentation are handed over to the owner, so control of the system stays with you.
Modular I/O makes it easy to add sensors, pumps or screens; the system grows with the yacht.
With remote access in place, many faults can be handled without being on board.
Fast on-site service from Türkiye, in port or at sea.
Want to keep your current system? We also support maintenance and fault finding on proprietary systems. When you are ready to move, we plan a step-by-step retrofit that keeps the existing wiring, as in our Sanlorenzo project.
