Sanlorenzo yacht automation
We renewed the automation system of a Sanlorenzo motor yacht: a Siemens S7-1200 in place of the ageing GE Fanuc PLC, and a touch screen designed for the yacht on the bridge.

About the project
The yacht's automation ran on an ageing GE Fanuc PLC. We replaced the GE Fanuc rack with a Siemens S7-1200 CPU and I/O modules, keeping the existing terminal strips and tank-level modules and connecting them to the new system.
We designed a yacht-specific interface for the Siemens SIMATIC touch screen set into the leather-trimmed bridge console. Lighting, ventilation, bilge, tank and power systems are monitored and controlled from one screen, and faults are logged to the alarm list with date and time.
If your Sanlorenzo needs fault finding, a PLC retrofit or a new control screen, we know this system and support you on site, in port or at sea.
